Rich Pitt

President

As President, Rich provides vision and leadership to the club. He has been a club member since 1972, one of the original! His steady hand has kept the club firing on all cylinders for many years.

Besides being a lifelong, avid skier, Rich enjoys golfing and traveling the world with his wife, Judy.

Vice President

Focused, approachable, and driven by results, our vice president is all about building strong relationships.

Jill Hitt

Trip Director

Jill serves as the Winter Trip Director for the club, organizing and planning memorable trips for members each season. While she doesn’t ski herself, she makes sure everyone—skiers and non-skiers alike—has a great experience. Jill enjoys snowshoeing in the winter and hiking year-round, and she also spends her time biking, playing racquetball, and camping. When she’s on a trip, you can always count on a variety of fun non-ski activities being part of the plan.

Jay LaPore

Treasurer

As treasurer, Jay maintains the club finances ensuring ski trips, social events and operations are fully funded. When not searching for fresh powder and carving cordurouy at first tracks, he enjoys golfing, hiking and RVing. As a native Baltimorean, he’s a diehard Ravens fan. Jay retired from the US Air Force in 2023 after serving 32 years as a Logistics Readiness Officer.

Chris Lieswyn

Secretary

As our club secretary, Chris knows what’s going on at all times. He began skiing when stationed in Germany with the US Army. Recruited to KSC by Janet a fellow hasher with Dayton Hash House harriers. Now retired, he has a passion for gardening, golf, hiking, biking and traveling with his wife Lynn. Chris also serves as our golf ambassador, arranging weekly golf outing for our members.

Joan LaPore

Membership Chair

Joan serves as the KSC Membership Chairperson. Her duties include collecting payments and membership forms and assisting trip leaders verfiy that all travelers are current members of either KSC or another OVSC club.

Joan loves to volunteer at Wright Patterson AFB and working part-time at Wright State University Catholic Campus Ministry. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, cooking, hiking, camping, and traveling.

Kristy Haaf

Social Director

As the KSC Social Director, Kristy plans and organizes all of the monthly happy hour events. She has a knack for finding fun and new places for our members to socialize and swap ski stories.

Webmaster and Marketing

Typically filled by one peson, our webmaster and marketing position is currently vacant with the duties being performed by other board members. The webmaster is responsible for the upkeep of our website to include posting announcements and important information for our members. Marketing duties involve sending club announcements to our subscribed members.
